Brianna Hammonds & Mookie Betts
One of the most stunning trades in recent Major League Baseball history was the trading of Mookie Betts from the Red Sox to the Dodgers before the 2020 season. Did the Red Sox not need one of the best young players in the game? Well, the Red Sox loss was the Dodgers gain and they promptly went out and won the World Series. Betts hit.292 with 47 runs and 16 home runs in the shortened 60 game season, and finished second in NL MVP voting behind Freddie Freeman.
Betts and his partner Brianna Hammonds have been together a long time and are raising a child together. The couple took a step towards making things official when they got engaged in January 2021. The couple will be in LA a long time as the Dodgers signed Betts to a 12-year deal keeping him in Dodger blue until 2032.
