Obviously, there have been a lot of really tall players in the history of the National Basketball Association. There have been plenty of ridiculously tall guys in the sport as well. But none of them were as tall as Manute Bol, who at 7’7 (and only 200lbs), was the tallest player in the history of the league. During his 10-year NBA career, he led the league in blocks twice (which seems like a really low number, given his height). He is currently a political advocate, bringing aid and awareness for the atrocities in his native country of Sudan.
