Randall Cunningham was one of the most exciting quarterbacks of the late 1980’s. His ability as both a passer and a scrambler helped paved the way for some of the future dual-threat quarterbacks to come into the NFL. Cunningham made the Pro Bowl in 1988, 1989, and 1990, but even despite having one the best defenses in the NFL each year, Cunningham and the Eagles never advanced past the NFC divisional game.

Late in his career, Cunningham got his best chance at a Super Bowl appearance as the quarterback of the 1998 Minnesota Vikings, who were shockingly upset by the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game.
