Former Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns running back Jamal Lewis made national headlines a few years ago, when reports surfaced that he sold his Super Bowl XLVII ring at an auction for approximately $50,000. Lewis indicated that he took out a loan from Lehman Brothers to fund two business enterprises, and when the company called back in the load amidst the company’s economic downturn, he could not pay the loan in full and had to declare bankruptcy. Today, he is the president of Metro Exhibits, which provides exhibit and trade show services throughout the U.S.
