Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown wasn’t really someone who was known for generating soundbytes that made national headlines during his playing days. But since his retirement, he’s made a few public comments that have gained some notoriety. In 2013, he accused former Oakland Raiders head coach Bill Callahan of sabotaging the team’s chances in Super Bowl XXXVII, by changing the game plan just two days before the game. And then, in August of 2017, Brown was critical of new Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch’s decision to kneel during the national anthem. Brown currently works for ESPN as a college football analyst.
