Pittsnogle was a big man with a feathery outside touch who also turned into a verb as seventh-seeded West Virginia “Pittsnogled” opponents on its way to the 2005 Elite Eight. By the end of his four years at WVU, Pittsnogle had the 6th most points in a career (1,708) and the most games played in a career (128) in school history.

Pittsnogle went undrafted in 2006, and bounced around the D-League for two seasons before officially retiring from pro basketball. Pittsnogle is now a high school teacher back home in West Virginia.
