After years of chasing big-name free agents, Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks were finally able to get at least one young, talented player to come to the Metroplex. Former Golden State Warrior Harrison Barnes signed a four-year, $95 million contract in the summer of 2016. In 2017, Barnes will make more money than franchise legend Dirk Nowitzki, as the latter of whom is playing on team-friendly one-year, $5 million deal.
