Shuler had two incredible seasons as the starting quarterback at Tennessee, amassing over 4,000 yards passing with 36 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions. If not for Peyton Manning, his name would be all over the school’s record books. He was also the Heisman Trophy runner up in 1993.

However, Shuler flamed out gloriously in the NFL with unsuccessful stints with the Redskins, who took him third overall in 1994, and the Saints. Shuler finished his career with 15 touchdown passes and 33 interceptions.
