After being taken with the 12th overall pick in the 1998 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic, the team traded him after only three seasons to the Cleveland Cavaliers. After said trade in 2001, Doleac never averaged more than five points per game in his remaining eight seasons in the NBA. But when Doleac can say, after looking back on his NBA career, is that he was a part of an NBA championship team: the 2005-2006 Miami Heat team that was carried by Dwayne Wade and Shaquille O’Neal to an NBA title.

What he’ll probably fail to mention is that he averaged 3.2 points per game scoring, and averaged only 12 minutes per game that entire season. But whether he played 42 minutes or 12 minutes, he still has an NBA championship ring he can call his own.
