Not only was Eli Manning named the Most Valuable Player of both Super Bowl XLII and Super Bowl XLVI, but he helped lead the New York Giants to upset victories over the New England Patriots. In 2011, Manning threw for just under 5,000 yards, and was named to the Pro Bowl four different times over the course of his career. But after throwing for a career-high 35 touchdowns in 2015, Manning hasn’t really been anything close to the elite quarterback we all think of him as. As we all know, Manning was unceremoniously benched for Geno Smith in late November of 2017.
