At 6’7 and 295lbs, with the agility of most skill position players in the NFL, Julius Peppers was a freakshow athlete coming out of the University of North Carolina in 2002; many people believed he was the best overall prospect in the entire draft. Over the course of his career, Peppers was named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the year, a six-time All-Pro (include three nominations to First Team), and a nine-time Pro Bowl selection. But age catches up to everyone, including Peppers. After the 2012 season, when he was a member of the Chicago Bears, he’s only had one year with double-digit sacks, and had less than eight sacks in each of those years, prior to re-joining the Carolina Panthers before the 2017 season.
