Chris Paul didn’t necessarily shine as bright as other college basketball players on this list. However, Paul still had two very good college basketball seasons. In 2003-2004, he was voted as the ACC Rookie of the Year thanks to his 14.8 ppg and 5.9 assists. His sophomore season was even better. Paul tallied 15.3 ppg and added 6.6 assists. His play led the Demon Deacons to the NCAA Tournament, but the team lost in the second round.

It was a disappointing end for a basketball team that was ranked No. 1 in the nation earlier in the year. Paul was selected as a consensus All-American, and quickly entered the NBA Draft in the summer of 2005. G: 63 Pts: 15.0 Reb: 3.9
