Not only are Brett Favre and Jerry Rice two of the best players in NFL history, they were also two of the most durable. Favre played for a total of 20 seasons (3o2 games) and Rice played for 21 seasons (303 games). Both players probably hung around a season or two more than they should have, but when you’re that good, most teams will let you go out on your own terms.
