Sasha Kaun, Cleveland Cavaliers (2016)
As a member of the 2015-2016 Cleveland Cavaliers, Sasha Kaun will forever go down in history as being the first Russian player to win an NBA championship (an honor he shared alongside teammate Timofey Mozgov). But it’s hard to imagine that most Cavaliers fans even knew who he was. Kaun appeared in a total of nine games for Cleveland that year — none of which were in the postseason — and never scored more than four points in any of those appearances. Literally one month later, Kaun announced his retirement from the NBA, after spending only that one season in the league.
