He is on his way to becoming a billionaire
In December of 2015, it was announced that Nike had signed LeBron James to a record-breaking “lifetime deal.” According to reports, the deal will pay LeBron at least $30M for the rest of his life. But Nike is just the foundation of LeBron James’ financial empire. LeBron’s list of sponsors includes Kia, Coca Cola, Samsung, and even Chinese internet provider Tencent. That’s not even including the money he’s made in the Beats deal, and his ownership of Liverpool FC. His latest venture? The big screen. It started with a role in the film “Trainwreck” starring Amy Schumer, but his entertainment company Springhill announced a deal with Warner Brothers to produce content for television, film, and online. Not to mention his (rumored) upcoming role in “Space Jam 2.” LeBron James is well on his way to becoming the highest paid athlete of all-time.
