Can a player who can’t hit a jump shot to save his life (for now) beat someone like LeBron James in a one-on-one game? If you’re Ben Simmons, a transcendent talent because of his size, athleticism, and basketball IQ, it’s definitely possible. At 6’10 and 240lbs, he’s one of the guys who has the size and strength to take James to the hole every time, and not get obliterated in the process; Simmons himself has tremendous strength, showing the ability to play right through contact and finish. And here’s an underrated part of Simmons game: his defense. Because of his own size advantage, wingspan, and lateral agility, he’d make it just as hard for James to score points as well.
