James Harrison wasn’t necessarily blessed with the perfect “football traits” that some of the other great pass rushers in league history had. What Harrison did have over them, and nearly anyone else, is a combination of almost superhuman strength, and an even more incredible work ethic. Harrison’s workouts include things like hip thrusts with 675lb weights across his weight, overhead presses with 130lb dumbbells AND resistance straps on each hand, and doing leg presses with 1,120 lbs worth of weight piled on.
