Roger Clemens

Roger Clemens’ combination of untapped potential (which never really seemed to care about maximizing) and sense of entitlement as a member of the Red Sox made him someone Boston sports fans barely tolerated, only because they had to. To make matters worse, not only did he then go to the New York Yankees, but he ended up winning a World Series with them right after that. And to top it all off, despite all the evidence saying otherwise, Clemens appeared before Congress, and swore under oath that he did not take steroids during his playing days. He was indicted on three counts of making false statements and two counts of perjury in connection to his (false) testimony.
