9. Albert Pujols

In 2012, after signing a 10-year, $254 million contract with the Angels, Albert Pujols plopped down $5.55 million for a brand new mansion. A well deserved purchase for the three time MVP. The custom built California home has 9,200-square feet of living space, and is fancier than most five star hotels. Besides the fancy archways and hand-painted finishes, the house features the usual “big kid” amenities of a game room, wine cellar, wet bar, and theater room. And for Mrs. Pujols, there’s a floor to ceiling fireplace, a soaking tub in the master suite, and French doors that open to the grounds. On those grounds, there’s a curved swimming pool with a waterfall, along with a separate spa next to the pool.
