10. Nunes is the first openly gay UFC Champion
With a dominant performance against Miesha Tate at UFC 200, Amanda Nunes made history, becoming the first openly gay champion in UFC history. In the main event of UFC 200 on July 9, Nunes put an end to Tate’s reign as champion, via first-round submission (rear-naked choke) to become the new champion. The UFC Women’s Bantamweight title has passed hands in four consecutive fights (Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Miesha Tate, Amanda Nunes).
